Three Singaporean Men Rescued After Hiking Mishap in Malaysia
In the early hours of Monday, July 1, three young Singaporean men found themselves in a tight spot while hiking in Malaysia. All aged 22, they set off on an adventure with a Malaysian friend at Apek Hill in Selangor on Sunday. However, things took a turn when they got lost.

According to Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, assistant director of the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, the call for help came in around 7.19 PM that evening. Promptly, a team of five personnel was dispatched to locate the hikers. Thanks to their quick response and effective communication, the team managed to stay in contact with the lost hikers throughout the ordeal.
By 11.30 PM, the rescue team successfully located all three men. Ahmad confirmed, “They were safe and there were no injuries.” The group was brought down from the hill by 1.02 AM and handed over to the police for further assistance.
