Khan explained that his sister intervened, urging their father to leave the situation. Afterward, the driver reported the incident to Gojek. Unfortunately, the driver was unable to provide dashcam footage as it was corrupted.

The incident took place around 10 AM, not in the afternoon as some reports suggested. While one passenger claimed there were five people in the vehicle, Khan confirmed the same number. He clarified that his father-in-law was unaware that the passengers wanted him to wait at Jurong Point before heading to their next stop.

He stated that the driver waited for about ten minutes, which he felt was reasonable. “Common sense dictates that prayers shouldn’t take less than five minutes,” he added, noting that he had to clean the muddy feet of the passengers after they left the cemetery.
