Are you thinking about buying a new car? If so, you might want to pay attention to the latest news about the Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices. The recent bidding exercise has stirred up quite a bit of interest!

Cat A: Small Cars See Price Surge

In the latest round for Category A (cars up to 1600CC and 97KW), there were a whopping 622 bids. The final price? A hefty $90,589, which is an increase of $3,354 from the previous bidding exercise. This week saw 27 more bids than last week, indicating a growing demand for smaller vehicles.

Cat B: Bigger Cars Experience Price Drop

For Category B (cars over 1600CC and 97KW), there were 568 bids. Interestingly, the price dropped by $1,507, bringing the final auction price to $113,881. This category also saw an increase of 27 bids compared to last week, showing that buyers are still keen on larger vehicles despite the fluctuating prices.

Cat C: Goods Vehicles and Buses on the Rise

Category C, which includes goods vehicles and buses, received 122 bids. The price rose by $5,000, closing at $81,802. This could be a sign of increased activity in the commercial vehicle market.

Cat D: Motorcycles Take a Hit

In contrast, Category D (motorcycles) had 594 bids but experienced a price drop of $600. This fluctuation might make potential motorcycle buyers think twice before making a purchase.

Bitcoin Purchase Amidst COE Changes

On a different note, I recently logged into my account and purchased 2 BTC (Bitcoin) for $12,589.98 USD. It’s fascinating how the digital currency market operates alongside traditional vehicle bidding!
