But things took a turn she didn’t expect.
When Wong arrived at the salon, she expressed her desire for a shorter cut and just “curtain bangs.” However, the staff informed her that trimming her fringe would cost extra. Curious about the price, she accepted, thinking it wouldn’t be too steep. She was also asked if she wanted a treatment for her dry hair, but after hearing the price of $176, she quickly declined. “I don’t mind. I’m actually kind of curious,” she thought, but that curiosity came with a price.
Wong learned that her haircut alone would set her back $88. Initially, she assumed the treatment would be the bulk of the expense. After getting her cut, she felt pleased with the results.
