However, Yu Yueqi, the 77-year-old head physician of Yueqi TCM, defended himself, stating that his anger stemmed from what he perceived as unfriendly behaviour from Yun. He claimed, “She stared at me while I was opening the store, and her expression made me uncomfortable.” This, combined with prior conflicts, prompted him to confront her.

Yu expressed his concerns, saying, “The burning of joss papers was affecting me negatively. After our disagreement, they only burned the joss paper when the shop was opened the next day.
