Exciting News for Students: Join the National Day Parade NE Shows!
Are you ready for a memorable experience? Students who missed the National Day Parade National Education (NE) shows during the Covid-19 pandemic will finally get their chance to attend in 2024 and 2025! This announcement from the Ministry of Defence (Mindef) came out on March 18, and it’s great news for those Primary 5 students who couldn’t make it in 2020 and 2021 due to restrictions.
What’s the NE Show All About?
Since 1997, Primary 5 students have been invited to these shows as part of their National Education learning. The goal? To celebrate Singapore’s achievements and help our youth connect with their Singaporean identity. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to feel a part of our nation’s story!
Upcoming Shows for Secondary 3 Students
This year, current Secondary 3 students in Ministry of Education institutions will also get to join in on the fun. They can attend one of three NE shows scheduled for July 6, 13, or 20. Parents will receive invitations via the MOE’s Parents Gateway portal between March 20 and 21. Interested families must confirm attendance by March 27 to secure their tickets.
If your child is in Secondary 3 next year, don’t worry! Invitations will be sent out in 2025. For more details, students and parents can contact their schools or email ndp24tickets@defence.gov.sg.
