According to Shin Min Daily News, a construction manager named Wang revealed that the object was mistakenly left behind after a security drill conducted at around 4am. During this exercise, a participant placed the fake bomb on a parked motorcycle near the security office. Wang recounted, “The person knocked on the window of the security office but didn’t see anyone.”
