Government Initiatives for EV Charging
In response to the growing need for electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, Transport Minister S. Iswaran announced on Facebook that five HDB carparks, including those in Jurong West and Yishun, are now equipped with charging stations. By the end of Q3 2022, an additional 600 charging points will be installed. Iswaran also mentioned that by 2025, all HDB carparks will feature at least three charging stations to help reduce carbon emissions from transportation.
