Get Ready for PSLE Results Day!
It’s the moment parents and students have been waiting for! The Ministry of Education (MOE) has officially announced that the results for the 2022 Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) will be released next Wednesday, November 23. Excitement is in the air, and it’s time to gear up for this important day.
What to Expect on Results Day
Parents and guardians are encouraged to accompany their children to school to collect their results. Each school will provide specific information on how to collect the results, so keep an eye out for updates from your child’s school.
However, if your child tests positive for Covid-19, MOE advises that they should not return to school. Instead, these students can access their results online. Starting from 11:30 am on the release date, students can log into the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) Candidates Portal using their candidate number and PIN to view their results.
Important Dates and Details
– **Results Viewing**: From 11:30 am, students can check their results online.
– **Proxy Collection**: If needed, students can appoint someone to collect their results on their behalf.
– **Deadline for Collection**: Results must be collected by November 25.
Additionally, students will receive their S1 Option Form for secondary school selections along with their PSLE scores. This form is crucial as it contains important information for selecting secondary schools.
Next Steps After Results
Students will get their posting results via SMS, S1–IS, or in person between December 21 and 23. After receiving their posting results, there’s no need to rush to secondary school immediately.
If your child cannot attend the first day of school in January 2023 for valid reasons, it’s important to inform the school right away. This way, they can secure your child’s place.
For more details, parents can check the respective school websites or visit the S1 Posting site for comprehensive information.
Why This Matters for Parents
The PSLE results are more than just numbers; they provide valuable insights into your child’s academic performance. Understanding these results can help parents make informed decisions about their child’s secondary school journey.
With the right preparation, you can support your child in navigating this exciting transition. So, gear up and get ready for the next chapter in your child’s education!
